 Digital Fluency Intensive Day 4.

Todays programme held a lot of relevance to the work that we do throughout the school year for our data management. It was good to find different ways to collate and display data. The different tools within google sheets for data analysis were handy tips. It was also good to investigate how to trouble shoot different aspects of a given process when it didn't work exactly how you would like. The collegial support provided by everyone has been great.

One learning opportunity that has been recognisable in my journey is the need to make time to continue to explore and reinforce my learning by engaging in this frequently during the week. I will need to balance my weekly calendar to allow more opportunities for this to happen.

Below is an example of creating a chart from data gathered from blog posts over a year.

  1. Jason, you are so right. When ever we are learning new things we need to make sure we make time to cement these, to ensure we don't lose our new learning. I'm so glad to hear you are feeling supported by your group.

  2. Kia ora Jason,
I am also really happy with the support everyone is providing within our principals group, we are all in this together. Finding time is always a challenge, but finding ways to use these new skills within some of your mahi will help embed and retain the new skills.
