 Digital Fluency Intensive-Day 2.

There was a lot to learn again in Day 2. I realise that I have made a number of gains in locating the tools needed for tasks and in my general work that I engage with throughout the week. It has been good to work alongside other colleagues in our digital groups and to progress our learning via our sharing. The information shared in the presentations and workshops has been really informative and again its good to see what is available so that we can choose to engage with new resource or tools in our daily lives. Working through the tasks and learning in our digital groups our school has realised that we do not have access or permissions enabled to a number of tools. We have worked at getting these permissions opened for our staff and school to access. I found the pace and information shared in Day 2 easier to follow as opposed to the first DFI Day 1 when everything was very new.

  1. Kia ora Jason,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the day. Participants often find the first day very much lives up to the INTENSIVE part of the name, but I'm glad to hear you found the second session easier to follow. Just think how comfortable you'll be in the space by the time we get to session 8!

  2. Thank you Jason for getting us on board the Manaiakalani Learn, Create, Share journey. It's great to be learning alongside our SLT and other staff of Otahuhu Primary.
